چکیده
In this work, six new fluorescent dyes derived from the naphthalimide scaffold (Napht1–Napht6) were synthesized and used as high-performance photoinitiating systems (PISs) in two three-component (combined with iodonium salt (Iod) and/or an electron donor amine (such N-phenylglycine[NPG])) for radical photopolymerization of acrylate methacrylate monomers under visible light using a light-emitting diode at 405?nm. Markedly, these never before. fact, PISs showed high initiation efficiency both demonstrating final reactive function conversions polymerization rates. A further interest our study is to determine effect different substituents (chromophoric group) on function, concerning free polymerization. order improve mechanical properties obtained polymers, derivatives also tested blend acrylate/epoxy (TA/EPOX); latter characterized by traction tests. To demonstrate dyes, several methods characterization techniques used, including steady state photolysis, real-time Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, emission spectroscopy well cyclic voltammetry. study, naphthalimides synthesis photocomposites (one multiple layers glass fibres) UV@395?nm (4?W/cm2) conveyor, preparation 3D printed polymers. one (Napht-4) can be water soluble photoinitiator hydrogel synthesis.

Dyes as Photoinitiators or Photosensitizers of Polymerization Reactions
A short but up-to-date review on the role of dyes in the photoinitiation processes of polymerization reactions is presented. Radical and cationic reactions are largely encountered in the radiation curing and the imaging areas for use in traditional coating applications as well as in high tech sectors such as nanofabrication, computer-to-plate processing, laser direct imaging, manufacture of opt...
متن کاملNovel Carbazole Skeleton-Based Photoinitiators for LED Polymerization and LED Projector 3D Printing.
Radical chemistry is a very convenient way to produce polymer materials. Here, an application of a particular photoinduced radical chemistry is illustrated. Seven new carbazole derivatives Cd1-Cd7 are incorporated and proposed as high performance near-UV photoinitiators for both the free radical polymerization (FRP) of (meth)acrylates and the cationic polymerization (CP) of epoxides utilizing L...
متن کاملSynthesis of p-Co3O4/n-TiO2 Nanoparticles for Overall Water Splitting under Visible Light Irradiation
p-Co₃O₄/n-TiO₂ nanoparticles (~400 nm) for photocatalysis were prepared via carbon assisted method and sol-gel method in this work. The paper also studied the application of visible light illuminated p-Co₃O₄/n-TiO₂ nanocomposites cocatalyst to the overall pure water splitting into H₂ and O₂. In addition, the H₂ evolution rate of the p-Co₃O₄/n-TiO₂ nanocomposites is 25% higher than that of the p...
متن کاملSynthesis and characterization of Mg1-xNixAl2O4 and their photocatalytic behaviors towards Congo red under UV light irradiation
In this paper, MgAl2O4 nanoparticles were synthesized by the Sol-gel auto combustion method and were doped with different concentrations of Ni2+ (x= 0, 0.1, 0.05, and 0.03). By this method, a novel photocatalyst which had better decolorization percentages of Congo redcompared to MgAl2O4 was produced. The MgAl2O4 sample...
متن کاملPhotocatalytic degradation of some organic dyes under solar light irradiation using TiO2 and ZnO nanoparticles
Nanoparticles of the ZnO and TiO2 were synthesized and the physicochemical properties of the compounds were characterized by IR, X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The XRD patterns of the ZnO and TiO2 nanoparticles could be indexed to hexagonal and rutile phase, respectively. Aggregated nanoparticles of Z...
